Provider Playbook: Questions and Answers

North Carolina has suspended the implementation of Medicaid Managed Care. Briefly, beneficiaries will get physical and behavioral health services as they do now. They do not need to choose a health plan. Medicaid providers submit claims through NCTracks as they do today, and should continue contracting with health plans. If you have questions about Managed Care, call the Medicaid Contact Center at 888-245-0179.

Please note: Managed Care policy papers, fact sheets and other documents and information include content that was effective when published and may not reflect changes in timing, schedules and other details due to the suspension.
