A valid PASRR number must be entered on the FL2 form used in the nursing facility level of care (LOC) prior approval (PA) process.

The PA timelines are based on the PASRR authorization timeframes and restrictions. Nursing facility services will not be authorized prior to or past the PASRR authorization timeframes.
