Division of Health Benefits Internship and Fellowship Programs

The North Carolina Division of Health Benefits (NC Medicaid) invites students, recent graduates and early career professionals to apply for fellowship and internship programs. All fellowship/internship opportunities and instructions on how to apply will be posted on this page.

These programs are excellent opportunities for fellows/interns who are undergraduates, graduates or early career professionals to collaborate with and be mentored by established professionals, while gaining hands-on work experience as part of a team making a meaningful difference in the lives of North Carolinians. 

The combination of practical work experience and professional support gives fellows/interns a foundation of skills, confidence and practical experience, enabling them to excel in their new careers.
