Effective with date of service Jan. 1, 2024, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has identified the following new CPT codes as separately reimbursable in the ambulatory surgery setting:

Providers are now able to resubmit NC Medicaid Direct claims for services rendered on or after Jan. 1, 2024. Providers are advised to contact their contracted managed care plans for assistance regarding the submission process for ambulatory surgery claims for NC Medicaid Managed Care.
