Upcoming Multi-Factor Authentication Changes for Pre-Admission Screening and Resident Review Users

Starting April 15, 2025, Pre-Admission Screening and Resident Review (PASRR) users must use Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) via MyNCID to enhance security.

Enhancing Security for PASRR Access

To enhance security and protect user accounts, the PASRR System will require Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) through https://myncid.nc.gov/. This update aligns with state security protocols and improves authentication methods.

What’s Changing?

  • MFA Requirement: Users must authenticate using MFA when logging into PASRR via NCMUST.
  • Single Sign-On (SSO) Implementation: The login page will have a slightly updated design while maintaining the same functionality.

To avoid any login disruptions, users need to set up MFA on https://myncid.nc.gov/ before April 15, 2025.

Steps to Set Up MFA

  1. Log in to https://myncid.nc.gov/
  2. Navigate to Multi-Factor Authentication Settings under your account
  3. Choose your preferred MFA method (Authenticator app or Email)
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup

If you experience any issues setting up MFA, please contact the PASRR Helpdesk for assistance at 919-813-5603.

Go-Live Date for PASRR Users MFA

The PASRR System will begin utilizing MFA on April 15, 2025. To ensure a smooth transition, additional information, step-by-step guides, and troubleshooting assistance will be available on the NCMUST PASRR Application Login Page at ncmust.ncdhhs.gov/

Please stay tuned for more updates as we approach the launch date.
