A dental home is important for every child, but especially for children and youth with special health care needs. Many families are looking for a welcoming dental home in their communities. This course will help your entire staff to be prepared to provide such a service to the family and your community.
Learning Objectives
- Identify the importance of access to oral health care for children and youth with special health care needs,
- Identify strategies for working with children and youth with special health care needs, and
- Provide resources and information related to providing effective oral health care to children and youth with special health care needs.
