Two policies will be effective on Jan. 1, 2025, and posted to the NC Medicaid website.

Health plans are required to pay interest to providers if they fail to accurately pay or inappropriately deny a claim.

Includes information on vaccine reimbursement, billing, counseling coverage and Immunization Program/Vaccines for Children

Enrolled providers must notify the Department at least 30 days prior to the effective date of a change of ownership.

Providers who support Community Alternatives Programs for Children and or Disabled Adults Medicaid Beneficiaries enrolled in NC Medicaid Direct.

For providers unable to provide services under an active, approved service plan due to the impacts of Hurricane Helene.

Providers will continue to use NCTracks for all enrollment activities until further notice.

This survey provides a national standard for assessing beneficiaries’ health care experience.
