The Physicians, Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants fee schedules have been revised to include the Evaluation and Management (E&M) fee schedules. When opening either of the respective fee schedules, the first tab is the original fee schedule for all procedure codes including E&M codes ranging from 99201 – 99499 not defined by Section 1202 of the Affordable Care Act (ACA).
The second tab labeled “ACA” includes the E&M codes defined by Section 1202 of the Affordable Care Act and the applicable specific taxonomies that received a rate increase effective Jan. 1, 2019.
