Updated: This bulletin has been updated on Feb. 23, 2022, to reflect that the most recent provider manual is available on the Advanced Medical Home webpage.

NC Medicaid has released the Advanced Medical Home (AMH) Provider Manual 2.2, which reflects North Carolina’s Integrated Care for Kids (InCK) pilot program expectations and changes that impact Advanced Medical Home (AMH) Tier 3 contracts with Standard Plans. Only select AMH Tier 3s are impacted by this change.

AMH Tier 3s and their Clinically Integrated Networks (CINs) have already received targeted outreach on the program from NC Medicaid and the InCK program team. The AMH Provider Manual version 2.2 replaces the prior version issued in April 2021. Additional guidance and program information on the AMH program is available on the Advanced Medical Home webpage.

NC InCK will go-live on Jan. 3, 2022, in Alamance, Durham, Granville, Orange and Vance counties. For more information on the NC InCK pilot program, see Appendix D and Appendix E in the AMH Provider Manual 2.2.
