Session Law 2021-180, the recently adopted NC Appropriations Act, includes funds to give a one-time bonus for eligible direct care workers (DCWs) and support staff who provide services to Medicaid and NC Health Choice beneficiaries. The Act also includes a provision to implement a HCBS and ICF-IID DCW wage increase for eligible employees who provide services to Medicaid and NC Health Choice beneficiaries.

Learn More Through Office Hours
NC Medicaid will provide four Office Hours sessions to walk through the Eligibility Portal registration process and associated activities, as well as answer provider questions. Registration is required.
