Effective with date of service April 1, 2023, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has identified the following new CPT code as separately reimbursable in the ambulatory surgery setting:
57425 (Laparoscopy, surgical, colpopexy (suspension of vaginal apex)
Claims for dates of service on or after April 1, 2023, that have been denied for place of service can now be resubmitted.
