Change to Hearing Office Fax Number and a Copy of Provider’s Adverse Action Now Required

This bulletin applies to NC Medicaid Direct and NC Medicaid Managed Care. 

Please be aware of recent changes to North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS) Hearing requests:

1. The NCDHHS Hearing Office fax number has changed. The new fax number is 984-687-9584 and providers are encouraged to begin using this number immediately.
2. Providers are now required to include a copy of the adverse determination letter when submitting their appeal request.

The adverse determination letters generated through NCTracks have been updated to reflect these two changes.
