Clinical Coverage Policy 2A-1 Acute Inpatient Hospital Services requires a signature page on the Utilization Review Plan be submitted to NC Medicaid every four years. The policy states “The UR plan must be signed by the hospital administrator or authorized committee members.”
NC Medicaid is clarifying that the wet or electronic signature on the UR plan must include the full name of the signer and date signed (month/day/year).
