DHHS to Sunset Nursing Home Staff COVID-19 Testing Cost Payments in June
NC Medicaid will issue its final payment under this initiative to Medicaid-enrolled providers in NC Tracks Checkwrite 25 (June 22, 2021).
NC Medicaid will align its timetable for payment to non-enrolled providers with Checkwrite 25 to the extent possible.
All providers must submit any remaining cases not previously submitted under the Extension Funding option no later than Monday, June 14, 2021. Cases for dates of service prior to Dec. 30, 2020, will not be accepted. Any case submitted after June 14, 2021, will be considered late and not processed.
The last appropriate date of service for testing activity costs referenced in this Special Bulletin will be Sunday, June 13, 2021.
As a reminder from previous trainings and Special Bulletin #146, providers are required to submit both a valid invoice and a staff roster with each Actual Case submission. Failure to do so will result in a delay and potential denial of related payment. The staff roster for Extension Funding payments is linked here.
All payments referenced in this Special Bulletin are subject to continued CARES Act funding availability.
