Summary of Updates
In Attachment A: Claims-Related Information, Section C: Procedure Code(s) page 45, the following updates were made:
Per the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) annual update, HCPCS code K1005 (Disposable collection and storage bag for breast milk, any size, any type, each) was end-dated Dec. 31, 2023, and replaced with HCPCS code A4287 (Disposable collection and storage bag for breast milk, any size, any type, each), effective Jan. 1, 2024.
