The North Carolina Association of Pharmacists (NCAP) will host NC Medicaid’s second provider webinar on April 20, 2026, to introduce the new Pharmacy Benefits Administrator (PBA) solution for NC Medicaid Direct.

This session will build on the information shared during the March 20 webinar and will provide a deeper dive into operational workflows and the transition to the new PBA. Attendees will receive detailed guidance to support smooth and successful transition.

Topics will include:

  • Key information pharmacies and providers need ahead of launch
  • A live demonstration of the new Prime Therapeutics Provider Portal
  • An overview of essential system functionality
  • A review of frequently asked questions

Prior to May 2, 2026, providers should continue to contact NCTracks for assistance at 800-688-6696. Beginning May 2, 2026, pharmacies may contact the Prime Therapeutics Pharmacy Call Center at 844-620-6116 for assistance with:

  • General pharmacy support
  • Medication dispensing questions
  • System access issues

The Prime Therapeutics Pharmacy Call Center is available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, 365 days a year, beginning May 2, 2026.
