This fall, care managers, caregivers and providers supporting high‑risk Medicaid beneficiaries are invited to join a three‑part webinar series focused on preparing for, responding to and recovering from extreme weather events.
Each webinar builds on the last to deepen practical knowledge, strengthen coordination, and enhance safety strategies for beneficiaries who face heightened risks during disruptive weather.
Developed in partnership with the Division of Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities and Substance Use Services and NC Emergency Management, this series equips participants with actionable tools, cross‑system guidance, and real world insights to better protect and support vulnerable individuals throughout all phases of an extreme weather event.

Webinar 2 - October 7 – 11 a.m. to Noon
October’s session will address hurricanes, severe thunderstorms, flooding, extreme cold and wildfires.
Webinar 3 - November 17 - 11 a.m. to Noon
November will focus on heavy snow, ice storms, blizzards, and other dangerous winter weather conditions.
