NC Medicaid 1915(i) services are home and community-based services for serious mental health needs, substance use, intellectual/developmental disabilities or traumatic brain injury.

If you have two conditions (dual diagnosis), you may qualify for 1915(i) services for both conditions. It does not matter which one is the primary diagnosis.

Don’t see your plan? 1915(i) services are only available with Tailored Plans, NC Medicaid Direct or Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians Tribal Option. 1915(i) services are not available with Standard Plans. See contact information for all Medicaid health plans.
